Standing in the Gap

Ezekiel 22:30

"I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none."

One day - Conception
One week - Attaches to the wall of womb
Two weeks - Stops mother's menstrual period
Three Weeks - Heart is beating
Six weeks - Brain waves measurable, moves and responds to touch
Eight weeks - Heart beat, EKG can be done, grasps instrument placed in hand, swims with a natural swimmer's stroke
Two and a half months - Body completely formed, including fingerprints
Three months - All organs are functioning
After three months - Nothing new develops or functions; there is only growth in size or maturity

Purpose:	To call forth the power of intercessory prayer and Stand in the Gap for our innocent pre-born brothers and sisters of which 4000 are slated for abortion each day, 1.2 million each year!


When:	Choose to sponsor one Saturday a year (or more).
	Crusade for Life Ministries will be with you in prayer at the clinic

Time:	8:00 AM at the church
	9:00 - 10:00 AM at the clinic (these are suggested times only)

Location:	Pastors and interested people gather at their designated place (usually their church) to pray, receive maps & instructions to the abortion clinic. Each participant will be given a specially prepared prayer booklet to use as a helpful guide to called "Standing in the Gap"

We believe that God knows and is deeply grieved with what is happening to the unborn. He expects us to be at this place of "death" as His Loving, Living Witnesses to this city and Stand in the Gap and pray!

This group is participating in a "Standing in the Gap" prayer vigil at the abortion clinic at Chapman and the 57 freeway in Orange, California. These folks are using the Standing in the Gap prayer booklet developed by and available through Crusade for Life.
