MISCONCEPTIONS
Because of the way the liberal media portrays
the news, our culture is filled with misconceptions. Here are a few that may
surprise you.
Stem Cells: There are two kinds of stem cells - adult including umbilical
cord cells versus embryonic - which come from the little humans formed in test tubes. The reader must always ask which kind is the writer referring to.
Both the U.S. and Japan recently had a breakthrough demonstrating that
it is possible to get stem cells from a born person that have the same
characteristics as the embryonic stem cells but donšt require the taking of
the life of an embryo. Another misconception regarding embryonic stem cells is
that there are cures available or nearly available from these stem cells.
Cures have come only from adult stem cells. Yet the most money is spent on
embryonic stem cell research because Prop. 71 was put in Californiašs
constitution. If the state goes bankrupt, this useless research will still go
on.
Global Warming - The Hoax: The majority of climate scientists stated
that global warming/global cooling or whatever is due to cyclical sunspot
activity. But one must ask "Why all the hype?" If world leaders can make people
worldwide believe that they are responsible for the weather, they
will be able to put laws into effect that cause everyone to be punished and
ultimately under their control. It will be an economic disaster. The middle
class will be history. It is a world control agenda! Starting in grade school
children are taught that people are going to harm polar bears. People
are bad. How does this effect pro-life? It enables the population control gang
to become stronger and possibly make laws to control how many children
a couple has, how long someone should live, and who should raise a child.
Why another Parental Notification Initiative? Repeating an initiative
helps educate the public. The more people who understand that minors can be
taken
for an abortion without their parents knowledge, the more educated voters there
will be. Is it worth all the time and cost? Definitely! In states where such
an initiative has passed, abortions of minors goes down and especially telling
is the fact that the number of minors with STDs also goes down. Maybe teenagers
can learn to practice abstinence.
Homeschooling: How can parents avoid much of the propaganda and
immorality taught in most public schools? Private and homeschools are the
answer and
in some cases vouchers or school choice. But the liberals fight these choices
every chance they get. Why? Control of future generations. Even universities
often only present "politically correct" teaching. The new film "Expelled"
exposes this hypocrisy. Good source:"Yes, itšs OK to homeschool in California"
at www.savecalifornia.com
Feminism: Were the early feminists pro-abortion? No! In fact Susan B,
Anthony was pro-life and there is now an organization by that name that
promotes pro-life candidates. www.sba-list.org
Social Security, Medicare and Illegals: Many are very concerned over the
influx of illegals but are they as concerned over the fact that we have
killed over 50,000,000 of our own people through abortion and now need more
workers?
March of Dimes: Before signing up to walk for the March of Dimes, check
out their policy concerning handicapped unborn babies. In the past they had a
paper on how to abort the handicapped unborn.
Abortion Facts:
1. Abortion is legal only for the first three months. FACT: Abortion
is legal for virtually any reason throughout a pregnancy.
2. The majority of American women believe abortion should be legal for any
reason. FACT: Only 30% do.
3. FACT: The human heart begins to beat at 22 days. Roe v. Wade says a doctor
can stop it for the next 244. www.secondlook.org
Abortion and Racism: "I believe (along with millions of others) that Dr.
King's focus would be on the fact that 1,452 African-American children are
killed each day by the heinous act of abortion. That 3 out of 5 pregnant
African-American women will abort their child. Also that although black
women constitute only 6% of the population, they comprise 36% of the abortion
industry's clientele. That 94% of abortuaries are strategically
placed in urban neighborhoods with high black populations. Over 13 million black
children have been victims of this sickening human slaughter since
abortion was legalized! Black men & women have spent over $4,000,000,000 (yes,
billion) dollars murdering their own people." Foundation For Moral

Planned Parenthood: Recent phone calls to Planned Parenthood facilities
exposed their racist root. Margaret Sanger, their founder, would have been
proud as P.P. officials in several states agreed to accept donations to be used
only to kill black babies. Also several facilities again covered up
statutory rape of minors by adult males. And yet: For the first time in
history, Planned Parenthood has surpassed the $1 billion mark in annual
income, a milestone made possible by $336 million of your tax dollars.
Despite the rash of bad publicity, Planned Parenthood received a $31.4 million
pay raise in taxpayer funds--a 10.8 percent increase in the
"nonprofit's" government revenue. Adding to the windfall, Planned Parenthood's
clinics worked overtime for an extra 24,707 abortions in 2006,
six times the number of casualties from the entire Iraq war. All together, its
abortion mills put 289,650 unborn babies to death in the year 2006
alone. This is an increase of more than 20,000 aborted babies from the year
before.
Planned Parenthood also makes a tidy sum sowing its wild oats in the next
generation of abortion customers. The group sold more than 1,400,000
"emergency" contraception kits, in many instances making transactions without as
much as a medical exam. Taken from www.frc.org
Racing For the Cure? Donšt Be Fooled
Are you or your friends entering a Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race
For the Cure? Rest assured that little if any of your contribution will
go toward research on the link between abortion and breast cancer, but some of
your money may go to abortion provider Planned Parenthood, as it does in
California and at least nine other states. Surprised? Read on.
The Komen mission statement is "To eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening
disease by advancing research, education, screening, and
treatment." If this is so, why does their website not only fail to acknowledge
abortion as a major risk factor, but have the audacity to state
there is NO connection? There are 28 worldwide studies spanning 45 years that
show abortion is a BIG factor. You can read about it at
www.AbortionBreastCancer.com
Something is very inconsistent between what the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
says and does. Visit their website at www.Komen.org and see for
yourself. Grants go to study almost any aspect of breast cancer except abortion.
It has been as granular as a study for breast cancer among lesbian
women then yet another subset study on black lesbian women, but nothing for the
most avoidable risk factor - abortion.
Obviously, not every woman who has breast cancer has had an abortion, just as
not every automobile accident involves a drunk driver. However, just as
driving drunk will dramatically increase the risk of an accident, abortion
increases the risk of breast cancer. Today in America, one woman in eight
will get breast cancer. For women who abort their second or subsequent
pregnancy, this increases to one in six. For those who abort their first
pregnancy, the chance of getting breast cancer is one in five. If a woman comes
from a family with a history of breast cancer, has used
contraceptives, and then aborts her first pregnancy, she is virtually assured of
getting breast cancer. And one in four women who get breast
cancer dies from it.
The Orange County Komen website states that over $2.5 million was raised in
their 2006 race for the cure. Of that, 25% was dedicated to research and 75%
to education, screening, diagnosis and treatment. Have you ever seen any Komen
Foundation educational material acknowledge the abortion/breast cancer
connection? Such information would be very important to women who are
considering an abortion. The number choosing to abort is staggering,
accounting for 1.3 million abortions each year, which cause at least an
additional 44,000 cases of breast cancer and 11,000 deaths. An ounce of
educational prevention is worth a ton of screening, diagnosis and treatment.
And why would the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which has raised
almost $1 billion since 1982, be giving money to Planned Parenthood, the
largest abortion provider in America? In 2007 the Orange County, California Komen Affiliate
gave a grant to Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino
Counties for a "Breast Health Program". The stated goal of the project is "to
encourage breast cancer risk-reduction and early detection behavior
among young women in Orange County." The irony is appalling.
If the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is sincere in its mission
statement, they should be forthright, open, and pro-active in exposing the
abortion/ breast cancer connection. Until you see them do that, save your time
and money, otherwise you are just supporting a big business with a
pro-abortion agenda.
