  • a United States citizen

  • a resident of California

  • 18 by the next election

  • not currently in prison or on probation

  • not declared mentally incompetent by a court

Who Must Re-Register to vote in California

Those Who Have

  • moved to a new permanent residence

  • changed their name

  • changed party affiliation
